The Town

The town is located in western North Carolina, approximately 60 miles northeast of Asheville, NC and 25 miles southeast of Johnson City, TN, located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The largest town in the county is Spruce Pine, and it is your next closest town to this property, just 20 minutes away, and it is the largest “small town” between Asheville, NC and Boone, NC with a burgeoning economy and a strong index for growth. It is a place for artists to pour out their art and soul with an inspiration that only these ancient mountains can provide. Spruce Pine began life as a train town, but the whole area had already established itself as a gem stone and mining center, as well as a timber resource many years before.
Here you will find the Blue Ridge Regional Hospital, along with Walmart Super Center, Ingles Grocery, multiple doctors and lawyers offices, along with a vibrant downtown featuring many good eats and unique shopping experiences.
Bombardier Motor Corp. of America (makers of Can-Am & SeeDo), along with Buck Stove Corporation, Sibelco North America, and The Quartz Corp. USA have established their companies and livelihood here amongst all those so fortunate to call this place home. They are the significant employers in the area.
